This policy explains what data kaelzhang.com (the “Site”) collects, why, and what rights you have. The Site is a personal website run by Kael Zhang. It has no accounts, no comments and no newsletters hosted on-site — subscribing happens on third-party platforms.
1. Advertising & cookies (Google AdSense)
The Site uses Google AdSense to display ads. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies (including the DoubleClick DART cookie) to serve ads based on your prior visits to this or other websites.

2. Hosting logs
The Site is hosted on Vercel. Like virtually all websites, the hosting infrastructure processes technical data on each request — IP address, browser type, referring page and timestamps — for security, abuse prevention and performance. This data is not used for profiling and is not shared with advertisers beyond what ad cookies already describe above.
3. Third-party services
Some pages link out to third-party services: Substack (newsletter subscriptions), YouTube, X / Twitter, GitHub and WhatsApp. Once you leave this Site, their own privacy policies apply. The Site itself embeds no third-party trackers other than the advertising cookies described above.
4. Your rights (GDPR / UK GDPR / CCPA)
You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of any personal data processed in connection with this Site, and you may object to processing at any time. The Site does not sell personal information, and it does not use automated decision-making.
